The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in House Halovar could help the party reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Questers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
